Default '09 Cross Bones - Re-locate ECM ???? Any ideas??

I'm going to change out the rear fender on my '09 X Bones with an RSD fender.
Does anyone have any ideas on where to re-locate the ECM that's attached to the stock fender?
I'm new to this Harley game so if any of you OG's out there have any advice please shoot.

Thanks,

Darren

I'm just tuning in. I was unaware of this being an issue, but I keep pushing back changing out my rear fender...but, I want to be prepared.

If you feel like a little metal-work you can put it behind the oil tank on a bracket or use the old bracket.

I didnt feel like doing all that so she sits above my battery zip-tied. Hasnt been an issue yet.

I'm working on a project that includes relocating the ECM. So far I'm planning on putting it on top of the battery, after trimming the plastic seat base. Don't know it it will work, but thats my plan. I tried moving it behind the fender back splash, no way that will work.

I dont have my battery cover in place right now. I ended up building it up with fiberglass and I have to sand down so the springs will sit right.

Behind the splash guard. Oops, I guess that won't be there with the new fender...

I have mine moved to behind the oil tank where the splash guard used to be. Its been there for a bout a year now with out any issues. I have ridden in the rain, once, but generally i ride dry. I didn't even try to put there and retain the splash guard so i don't know if having it there with the splash guard is possible. let me put my son to bed and then i'll run out and try and snap a few pics for you!
