Default new floorboards cause small problem

i installed my new floorboards the other day and got ready to try them out and my kickstand would not go up. i ended up having to bend the outrigger/grab handle just so it would go up. now i have to reach down and pull the kickstand down by hand. do i have any other kickstand options? i really didnt wanna be reaching down everytime to lower my kickstand. any options or advice would be appreciated. the bike is an 09 deluxe.

Get a shorter kickstand like the crossbones stand which is what I have. I have really big floorboards and mine still clears them with the foot....barely. For newer (07 and up) bikes the only option I have found is the Harley stand. It is about $99.

Not that it helps your situation, but your lace paint looks awesome.

It is the stock stand from the Cross Bones and most likely the Deluxe as well.
