I am looking for a new set of tins for my Fatboy to have customized. Just curious if Deluxe tins would fit? Can anyone tell me for sure?

I guess the 1st Q would be, what year is your fatboy? And 2nd would be, is it Carb or F/I? Rear fenders get wider as they get newer, so watch for that.

Now here is my dilemma. I've always liked the tombstone taillight. A few years ago, I rounded up an extra set of sheet metal for my 00 Heritage. A plain non-trim frt fender, a stock Heritage Springer rear fender w/taillamp) and a Carb version gas tank. All to put a mild custom paint job on. It took a few months to round upon ebay, but it was fairly cheap. I was going to run that Rick Doss "V" shaped turn signal brkt. Right after that, Harley came out with the Deluxe. Bastards stole my idea (Yeah right Ha ha) . So it just kinda killed it for me. I like the Deluxe, don't get me wrong. But now if I did it, people would probably just think I'm tryin to make my 00 "look like" a Deluxe. So, I'm torn. If I keep this bike, I'd like to paint it. I'm almost thinking same scheme, but maybe Fatboy rear fender just for a cleaner look. The other part to my delemma is, I'm looking at Baggers. But I need to ride them all. I am very undecided at the moment. If the heritage goes, so will the sheet metal set, togeter or seperate (won't fit wife's 03 anyhow-her's is FI & 150 rr tire)
So believe me, I'm open to suggestions . . .
