Not sure, but dosen't all your Horse power go out the tail pipe with straights?

 

well if they wur short and strait i would say yes, but if you have power cones or fishtails i would say no,,if you look at a baffle its just a narrower piece with holes in it

 

go to the samson site, the longtails step down a lil before the fishtail tip, the reg fishtails dont, i think it changes the sound the longtails sound better imo

 

Are yours straights or baffles? I would kill to hear a good video of some straight cholos on a Softail. YouTube sucks for that. I saw the Samson.com one on the red SG but never on a softy...

they do sound good..my buddy has em on his heritage springer and with the rev extend holy chit they rap.......i would put them on my ride but never seen em with a short fender...would love to see it

The baffles are not removable in Samson longtails or fishtails. So I got the non baffled ones and can make a set removable if I need them.

 

I figured I would go non baffled because my bike is already tuned for straight pipes . I dont know what pipes I have now because I just got the bike and the origional owner put them on .
They are loud and nothing inside . So I figured mini cholos non baffled bolted on be done with it no re tune .
