Default Removed Saddlebags and Back seat (pic)

I removed the saddlebags and back seat for a solo riding experience. It really makes the bike look nice.

I dig it. I'm doing the same this spring, adding a Motherwell curved rack, and I'll run with a small round pack on it to carry the stuff I need locally.

http://www.motherwellproducts.com/pr...5-09%20kit.htm, mines on back order.

I like the look of that rack. That's a great idea and gives me something to put where that old back seat bolt is still sitting.

Once you do that you start seeing all kinds of things that need to be chromed....

I rarely have my saddlebags on and never use my passenger seat. I have a Heritage Springer solo rack that i put on sometimes..

You're absolutely correct. I ordered over $200 in little pieces of chrome the other day (bolt covers, etc.) just to chrome up stuff that is stock "boring". Along with the new pipes it should really look nice when I'm "done".

I consider "done" to be subjective however; as it's beginning to feel like it's just an ongoing process of constantly adding more and more to the bike. Owning a Harley is really fun.

Nice! but now you just gotta ditch the windshield throw on some monkey bars and drop it a couple of inches. IMHO.

looks cleaner but IMHI I agree with getting rid of the windshield but leave the bars as is and don't lower.
