FXSTB Night Train Wobble/Shimmy
I have a 2009 FXSTB Night Train, the Harley Shop can't seem to get rid of a slight but noticeable and aggravating wobble or shimmy from my handle bars. It starts on deceleration at about 53MPH and the handle bars shimmy/wobble. Also in turns there is a slight wobble as well.
The Harley shop has done the following!
Replaced Tire and with that the direction of tread.
Replaced neck bearings.
Tightened to speck the neck bearings.
Replaced front wheel
Inspected wheel bearings.
Still can't get rid of slight but noticeable wobble, yes still under warranty.
No run out on a mag correct? are any other night train owners experiencing this?

I had the exact same problem. Two things eliminated the wobble 100%
Front tire re-balanced, took some of the wobble out.
Disregard the spec. for the neck bearings and make them as tight as possible. My front end has absolutely no wobble, is rock solid and tracks true and straight.
You will be on your own if you choose to do this. The dealership won't do to liability concerns. Get yourself a tube of synthetic grease and pack the neck until it oozes out the top and bottom.
