Default Robert at Garage Leathers...

I had a great conversation with the man today...very helpful and an all around cool dude.

My intention was to buy the angular swing arm bag...probably with that cool helicopter latch...

But I'm considering his "Skully" bag...a little larger than the regular swing arm bag...and squared top, no angle.

What do y'all think about this bag on a Black Denim Lo?
(I'd get it in black)

[sorry about the link, I wasn't able to directly post pic...if someone can help me out or educate me on linking pics that would be cool]

I think the bag would be awesome. It looks good and is a convenient storage area. I'd say, go for it! The main reason I haven't gotten one yet is that I can't decide on colour. I, personally, like the brown, but don't know that it would go with my bike at all.

As for linking pictures. An easy way I have found is to right-click the photo you want. Select open in new tab/window/or whatever else. When the image pops up, copy the address and past it here within the IMG tabs.

For instance, this should be what you are looking at:

http://garageleathers.com/wp-content...05/bl1102n.jpg

Highlight this link, click the image button at the top, paste the address into the pop-up window, say "OK" and you get this:

It is a great looking bag and suits the bike, but why brown? I like the look of black especially if the paint and the seat are black. just seems out of place. Your bike, your money, your bag so if you like it go for it, just my two cents.

Thanks all...

I think this bag is old skool cool...and would be fitting on a Black Denim Lo...it does give more storage than the angular swing arm bag.

Timmy B: I would definitely get it in black.

Thing is, talking tp Robert...his leather is a matte black, not shiny like most black leather bags...Perfect!

And thanks DocJ for the heads up on the pic post:

I prefer the way the smaller bag uses the liens of the swingarm as it works off the styling of the bike but to each their own. Leatherworks makes the other style in a 5" wide version as well which will give a lot more storage space.

I agree.

It's why I'm sleeping on it this weekend.

I think the bag is pretty cool. I just got my swing arm bag with the "cool latch" mounted on my bike (I did get a different style than the one you posted).

Robert was an awesome guy and was great over the phone in answering questions I had when I called him. The quality of his work is outstanding and I don't think you will be disappointed one bit. Nice heavy, thick leather and the craftsmanship seems top notch!

Just wish they made a bag for true duals. I like the one pictured, it looks good. They just need to make one for duals

Well if you described it to me, I'd have to say what Drew said. Now that I have seen it, I have to say I like it and it does have an old skool style. What I like most about it is that it is different in style and is appealing.

The bottom of the bag pulls up with the swing arm allowing it to still flow. Pull the trigger Larry! (Mine is garage leathers also)
Remove your belt guards first. Took mine off after this picture. it's either now or later lol, cheap mod.
