Quick question on apes.

Yes you can. Buy the stuff and us forum folks will walk you through it. It is not difficult, only time consuming.
You will new cables, a wiring extension, poly riser bushings and s set of bars. It is even easier for you with your foot clutch. No need to worry about removing the exhaust to get the tranny cover off.
Basically you will remove the old bars, take the connectors on the end of them apart, splice in the extensions, run this through the bars, reassemble the connectors, plug them in, replace throttle and idle cables along with front brake line and put everything back together.

You can run brake and clutch inside them. You need to drill a new hole for the brake line and get an internal throttle and some other stuff, but Fireman____ here in the softails ection did it. It is more work than I want to do on mine although it looks slick. Let me find a link for you.

Tat, I did this mod, without the clutch cable in a 1,5" Gangsterape. The pain in the $ss is getting the brake line through. The reason for this is, that there is a inner tube inside the apes. I think it will be a problem with a 1,25" ape. I didn't do the clutch side. I didin't do this because I wanted to keep the original clutch and brake mastercilinder.
