True Duals
I am in the process of deciding which set of true duals to get for my 2010 Heritage. The Vance & Hines are $579 an Dennis Kirk. The Samsons are $854 .Are the Samsons worth the extra money? Are they better?
V&H - you can change baffles
Samson - you can't change baffles
V&H - don't follow contour of the primary
Samson - follow contour of the primary, they provide new shift linkage to accommodate that.
V&H - Rear pipe is flattened a bit to fit between cylinder/seat post
Samson - Rear pipe not flattened, they provide new seat post to accommodate for it.
Samson or V&H ... it's about looks and sound and how much you are willing to pay. Also some think the fish tails on the Samson are nicer than the ones on the V&H. (the fishtails on the V&H are extra! MSRP about $170)
