Default Internal Wiring on 2007 FXSTC Stock Bars

Has anyone tried to internally wire the stock bars on a 2007 or later Softail Custom? I have never liked the afterthought-looking stuck-on look and would like to put the wiring inside.
If I had a good wrench do it, how much is it worth and what do I need to be looking out for?

Thanks for any advice.
