Default wheels

Hey folks, must say this is a great site...I dont post alot but I read a bunch and have learned a ton of stuff. I have been thinking about what to do next to my 2009 Night Train and it got me thinking about something. I was riding my Ducati the other day and when I cam back to the house I was wiping the bike down and thought..." you know some Carbon Fiber wheels on the Night Train just like the Ducati would be awesome ".....would be a great performance boost and for sure look different. So I started reading and I was surprised that not many if any have CF wheels on there Harley's and I just had to ask why ? It seems that most of us are willing to spend some serious money on aftermarket items for either performance or looks but for some reason no body has CF wheels. Is there a reason ? Is it taboo in the Harley world ? Do folks believe they are not safe ? " My Ducait puts down about 140 Horse Power, much more than any Harley so I know they are safe and can handle it. I was just curious as to what peoples thoughts were on Carbon Fiber....or " Italian Chrome " as us Ducati guys like to call it LOL.

Cheers....great site.
