Default Iron Max bags installed on Deluxe (PICS)

So I bought a set of Iron Max (Iron Bags) from a fellow forum user and got the chance to put them on the other night. Finally took a few photos to share.

First off, WOW, these bags are crazy nice! The quality of the construction and the leather itself is second to none! These are some heavy duty bags that are put together really well. And they look fantastic on the bike. Everything fit perfectly and the quick release backrest still fits as it should. The bags don't stick out very far at all, even with the quick release backrest. I couldn't be happier with these bags, and definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a bag that looks awesome on the Deluxe. They aren't cheap, but you clearly get what you pay for.

They look good. Looks like they could hold quite a bit.

Those things are f-ing HUGE!!!
They sure look nice though . . . From ALL angles.

I'm thinking you could not run the chrome saddlebag guards
w/those (not that it really matters)

Thanks for the comments. Ya they are pretty big, hence the Max name lol.

But they don't overpower the bike at all and I think really complement the style. I cut the fringe a bit so it didn't hang so much, but other than that they are great. Don't think I'll leave the straps for on top of the bags on, as I probably won't use them much.

Also, I forgot to mention the smell. My garage smells like Texas right now because of the leather. Love the smell. Such great quality bags.

I've had my Iron bags, thunder model, on for 4 years. They are still like brand new.
They are pricey, but you definitely get what you pay for.
I ordered them with the optional cargo straps, but have never used the straps to tie anything on top of the bags. I'm very pleased with the quality and looks of the bags but wouldn't add the cargo straps if I had to order another set.
