How much would you let resale affect your wheel choice ?e
Finally decided fat spokes are the only way to go on my Deluxe. How much would you let resale of the wheels affect your color choice? I have no plans on painting or selling my bike .But I am looking into getting white pearl spokes to match my paint. If I do I am really limiting myself to future resale or a repaint if I decide to do so.You can never go wrong with all chrome. But I am really wanting white spokes or alternate B/W white and polished stainless.
my biggest fear is changing something, then hating it, and not being able to get my money back.. do what you think looks good for you, let the next guy worry about it later.
Sorry. I would not consider the potential buyers thoughts on colored spokes. I would buy the spokes I liked. Just for the record, I happen to like colored fat spokes. Not on my Springer, but on a Deluxe....yes.
There is a guy who rides a light blue and black Heritage in this area with white spokes and it is very classy looking. I have a pic somewhere. I am to try and find it. I love the way it looks and that is the only bike I have seen with white spokes.

Drew
Yeah you dont see to many white spokes.I went on a poker run Sunday over 500 bikes and the only one with a white seat too.
Thanks for the pics Drew.Thats pretty much the colors of my bike gives me something to go on.Although I would keep the nipples polished stainless. That would look killer in the 21,18 set up Im gonna run.Now would you do the rotors in white or leave them polished.Dont want to go over board with the white.
