Handlebar wiring connector
Hey guys, would anybody with a service manual be able to help me? I'm looking for the handlebar wiring connector for a 2008 softail, for the left side diagram. for which color wire goes in which hole. i changed my handle bars i have no left turn signal or horn. just want to make sure i put the wires back in the right spot. any info would be a great help

In my manual it goes like this:
pin 1: orange/white
pin 2: yellow
pin 3: blue
pin 4: white
pin 5: white/violet
pin 6: yellow/black
pin 7: black/red
pin 8: black/red
On my bike, I have a black/red and black wire instead of two black/red wires. I'm pretty sure the black only wire goes in position # 8, since that's the way I diagrammed it out before I pulled the Molex connector apart, but I'm having the same problem as you, except when I press the horn button, my starter relay engages. Strange...

checj the connector sometimes they dont clip in all the way when you put it back together so when you connect the ends together the loose ones push apart leaving you with no connection ,its not to hard to see if you have the wires in the right spot just put it next to the connector under the tank you should be able to see all the colors just compare where they are in relation to the connector from the bars
meaning when you connect connectors the colors should match up on both sides of connectors ,so if you put a wire in wrong possiotion it wont match up to the connector on the other side ,
