Well must be a personal thing while I think they look ok would never trade my heritage for one. Just don't trip my trigger. Now maybe a Ultra glide might sway me but never a night train.

See, i'm just the opposite, I would never consider a bagger. I like it lean and mean. If I got that much stuff to carry, i'll take my truck.

I wouldn't consider a bagger... unless I'm as old as dirt and turning gray...... Until then, I'll burn up the asphalt...hahahahahahahaha

Gotta agree. You don't see that many on the road, but seems everyone I talk to "wants one" I'm all for the all black look. Something about it. I spent six months looking at it before I was able to come home at get it. Never a regret!!!

Well I just found out that I should be able to pick up my baby on friday!!! Man this will be the longest week of my life.

I guess NT's are pretty rare, I had a hell of a time even finding a pic on the internet of a red one, and I've never seen one in person. Any thoughts on production numbers?

Hey TXMoores I love your front wheel.

When I bought mine in dec, all the local dealers had them in stock, but by spring they were very rare, I have only seen one on the showroom floor since june, and it didn't last long. I'm not sure on prod. numbers, but I bet they are one of the fewest models produced.

Ponyracer,
Thanks, it is a Sturgis brand wheel... It didn't shine like it is now when I got it, but I found a local aluminum polisher who specializes in wheels and he made it look like chrome!! I have had a lot of folks think that the rear wheel is chrome with the center painted black, but it too was polished...

P.S.... Thanks to all who voted for my Night Train, maybe this month Night Trains will indeed rule!!

How does the rear wheel stand up to corrosion/dirt after it's been polished?

Cheers!

Actually real well as the last step this guy does is apply a 'good' automotive wax for some extra protection. Which reminds me... he said I should wax it myself monthly to make it last longer...
