2>1 vs 2>2 noise level
Nice looking ride.....
I like Ur bags OK but IMO a set of basketweave bags off the Heritage springer to match Ur seat would really set Ur bike apart from the rest.
Just me..

So what exactly is the motivation for your exhaust upgrade, when much of the "upgrade" part is a nice loud rumble? That's usually a huge part of the decision. I'm sure you've read many of the exhaust threads here. How close are the stock pipes to failing? Personally, I would not fork over the bucks for a new system that was predominately chosen for being quiet. Perhaps some tame slip-ons would be more appropriate. Just curious....

The stock exhaust is far below the limit. As something of an indication, the Termi "race only" exhaust on my Duc 999S passed easily. I am trying to get some enhanced breathing without a fist full of $250.00 noise violation tickets.

V&H Big Radius 2:1 or a ProPipe might fit the bill. Both are pretty deep sounding w/o be overly loud.
My Big Radius 2-1 is respectable but not too loud IMO. There is also a quiet baffle available. Mine is standard. I have heard sound clips of the ProPipe but not in person. Sounds good even in the UTube videos. You can call up the V&H tech support people and ask some questions regarding sound pressure levels. They are usually very helpful. Go to the website for the phone number www.vanceandhines.com
I'm sure other manufacturers can provide the same sort of info.

I just got the big shots staggered 2-2, they are pretty loud but sound great.
Do police actually ticket people for loud pipes? I mean, isn't a harley supposed to be a bit loud? I guess it's like a window tint ticket, they'll write it up if they've got nothing else on you?
Can't go wrong with any v&h setup from those I've heard. Good luck!
