I have the basic Harbor Freight lift. I use it all the time (though not like the video). Its functionality has proven to be worth alot more than the $60 I paid. I always use the safety stop on the lift and a tie down for extra support.

Damn, and I worry mine will fall over on the kick-stand! I do see they got the skinniest guy around to do the acrobatics.

I actually have the jack in the video (J&S). While I have not climbed on the bike like they do, I have moved it all over the driveway and carport with the bike on it without any straps. It does seem to work as advertised.

I've got the Harbor Freight lift. Works fine. Had mine up all winter last year and it didn't move at all. Just wish it was a little lower. Have to back my bike up on a 2x4 to get enough clearance to roll the jack under it.

I know this is an old thread and all but wanted to comment on the Harbor Freight Moto Jack. I bought one back in January of this year(2013) and just this month had a problem with the jack(would not raise all the time) I checked fluid and bled system as instructed but no good so I took jack back to Harbor Freight because it was in the 3 month warranty period and low and behold was told there's nothing they can do without a receipt. I am not putting the company or the jack's performance down(when it worked, it worked great) but please hold onto your receipt in case it fails or better yet buy the extended warranty for it and you'll be entered in the system and they can look it up if you have no proof of purchase.......... just sayin, hope it helps someone........ Ride Safe.

when you go the cheap route you never know what you are going to end up, a POS or a diamond in the rough.

I have the Sears red jack and got it on sale for around $80.
The last time I checked the J&S jack was around $450 or 6 time the cost of my red jack.

Even if my red jack only last 3 years, that 18 years worth of jacks vs. the J&S.
Also with my Heritage strapped down, I've sat on the bike while it's 18" in the air.

I'm not saying that J&S isn't the best jack out there, because I think it is, however, the $400 I saved by buying my red jack sure came in handy when buying other add-ons.
