Check out webbikeworld.com on their helmet reviews and listing of weights. If I ever go with a full face it will be a Nexx Carbon, it looks cool appears to work very well and weighs less than alot of half helmets! It appears to be such a nice helmet I'll probably get one anyway even though I wear a half now. I'd like to be going over 50MPH without the windshield on my Fatboy without the helmet lifting.

I've always used a full face helmet and never noticed a limitation on my peripheral vision while riding. But I'm usually traveling faster than traffic and rarely have to check my blind spot for someone coming up to me.

But, after getting a modular helmet I have noticed how much easier it is to see while backing up. Mine is cheap and noisy, need to get a better one.

I never noticed a limit on peripheral vision until I switched to a half helmet for the last 5 years. It is very apparent to me that there is more head turning necessary with a full face. Not a problem, just the way it is. It doesn't help that I only have 1 mirror as well.

Lots of opinions. All I can say is I only have one head and I like to keep it as safe as possible. Having lived in the extreme heat of Arizona, the humidity of Florida and much of my life in Los Angeles, I've worn a full face helmet for most of the 43 years I've been riding. I wear an Arai. If I was checking out a modular I'd look at the Schuberth C3 and that's gotten good reviews with BMW riders.
