Yeah, I am now curious about the Perelli. I was almost set on going with Avon but may reconsider now.

I ran into the same problem last summer. I picked up a nail and had to replace a perfectly good tire. No 140/70-18 from metzler. I ended getting the 150/70-18 reinforced. It rides well so far, cant really tell the difference between the old 140 and the 150. It does appear to be a little taller but it's hard to tell just eyeballing it. In hindsight I wish I had gotten the 4.5" rear, however at the time the 140/70-18 was available and I never thought they would discontinue it. They didn't have the 17" rear 19" front setups when I bought my wheels you have a lot more options with that setup.

Pirelli doesn't list a 140/18 tire on the website so they may have discontued it as well.

You would think someone would make a tire for those of us w/ skinny 18's

KumaRide, why didn't you go 180 or 200? The tire/wheel looks like it doesn't quite fill out that big fender...

So you can put the 150 on a 3.5 but it will have more flex?

160 is max for pre 07 fatboys. About 1/8"- 3/16" clearance each side top of fender if fender is centered. Their are kits for wider tires.

I just called and ask them and they said it would be the 150/70/18 for the maverick wheel package.

I don't know if you guy are only talking about WW's but I runa 160/60-18 Metz on a 18X4.25 rim and it's tight but no rubbing at any height even 2up... Oh and yes a stock pulley Now because every brand is different, I wanted to go with Avon but if I did I would have had to run a 150 and a higher profile tire. The Metz was the biggest I could squeeze in there.
