Default 18" or 21" front wheel for crossbones

Hey guys, I'm lookin at replacing my xbonz front wheel with either an 18" or a 21"
I would like to also run without a front fender, and of course I would like to make it as simple a change over as possible. Any thoughts or concerns from those of you that have done it???

21" definitely, if you plan on running without a front fender then you possibly could go up to 23" if you wanted to

I sent my front fender to thug customs to massage it to fit. Let me just say it was pricey and to do over I would have got a welder to lay 2 beads down. Basically they take your stock fender and remove the supports and rivets that go on top of the fender then reweld them underneath. It is suppose to fit a 21. I have not pursued it further as I like Rollin without a fender.

Thanks guys for the votes... Hey Milty your bike is sick and I was going to roll on an 18" until I saw yours. Did you have to do anything different up front to make that 21" work??? I'm hoping for plug and play if you know what I mean....

Nope. I will caution you, I have heard on here that you should change the lower rockers. I did not. I rode with the 21 on there as is just fine. I chose to throw the Burly spring lowering kit for aesthetics and it gave the front end the look I was after. The lowered springs makes things a little more rigid. I find it is very stable at highway speeds. The big 21/140 coupled with apes changes the ride, I find I push the bars into turns and it is very responsive.

I'm still amazed that the Bone's didn't come with 21's from the factory. They seem the perfect wheel for the bike.
