LePera solo seat Fat Boy Lo. Not very happy with it....
 

It looks badass! But DAMN, its hard as a rock, and I bought the optional driver gel. Does it get better with time? I cant imagine. The only experience I have with custom seats is Danny Gray on my Rocker and it is much more comfortable then this one. Anyway, anybody with experience or similar feelings?

Stock is about 10x's more comfortable.... Just saying.

That sucks cause it looks GREAT!! It fits the lines of the Fatboy perfectly and is exactly what I have been looking at too. Is this the sillouette or the bare bones?

The stock seat on my 09' is uncomfortable as hell, I sure can't imagine going with something worse...hope it's just a break-in issue.

Its a LePera Bare Bones. And damn I can feel my tailbone on that seat! Lol... It is a great look, but if its gonna feel like this the whole time, its not worth it.

I wish I stuck with Danny Gray only because I have used them in the past and know what to expect.

It will get better with time, not sure if your butt breaks into the seat or the seat breaks in. I had one for 2 years and it does get better the more you ride it. Still was onlygood for an hour or so then had to get off now using a Brawler and it is better, can go for 2hrs plus

I luv the look of the Leperas also. But reviews like this has me scared off. C&C I am still not sure of also. May have to stick with stock and get new mats for it.

I'm fine with mine. I have the gel too and overall I am happier with it than stock because of the seating position it puts me in, and because of the shape of it. I find it a tad more comfortable than stock, tho I do need a break after 2.5 to 3 hours, but at that point I need a bathroom break anyway. The more you ride on it, tho, the more your ass will adapt to the seat and yes, the more that gel will adapt (form) to your ass.

This seat is low profile becasue it doesnt have a bunch of foam so I guess the fact that it feels the same way that it looks shouldnt be suprising. I have also heard that the gell helps with vibration but isnt really softer than foam but I dont know since mine is just foam.

This seat is a bar hopper, for me its a two hour max saddle and I have a good back.

I just swap my stock back in for trips with my bags but for riding around town I wouldnt trade this seat for anything.


The C&C is nice but for looks its a little too thick in the back where it sits on the fenter. Kind of blocky looking.

It'll never get better, and the gel doesn't do shit for comfort.
I gave mine a couple of years.
Don't feel bad, my LePera is sitting in my shed. It was good for an hour, and then I was in total ass burn mode till I got back home.

I now use a Mustang Vintage solo. It's not as pretty, but it's truly an all day comfortable seat.

It does not get any better, the good thing is not everyone knows or accepts this so you can get a good buck for it on flea-bay...

Look at it like shoes, do you buy shoes that hurt your feet in the hopes that after wearing them for awhile they will not hurt so much...just because the shoes look cool?? Not me, if they hurt when trying them on then they stay in the store...
