The Samson True Duals fishtails look great on any Deluxe! I've been looking at them for the Bones for some time...just can't decide whether I want the duals, or if I want my pipes strictly on the right side...decisions, decisions!

Regardless, the true duals look best on the Deluxe. That's my vote, and I'm sticking to it!

True duals look great on Deluxe as well as a Heritage, if you are looking for that ole skool look. Here is my Heritage with V&H true duals, still waiting on my fishtails......

We are running V&H Double Barrel Q's. They look good and are louder than stock but not to the point of complaint. We also installed the SERT and breather to try to cool the bike down a bit. Biggest reason for the new pipes is to fit the Road King leather bags. You can see the set up in our Garage. So far we like them.

Well, when you're talking Deluxe you have to consider fishtails. That's just a given. If she wants her pipes on the right side, then the V&H Longshots would be a great look and sound. V&H True Duals without the fishtail tips is a nice way to go for the balanced duals look. Regarding the whitewalls, I noticed the longer pipes, my rear tire didn't get nearly as dirty as when I had the Big Radius pipes on it. The longer pipes also don't allow the exhaust to make your rear wheel/spokes as dirty either.
