Hey all sitting looking and reading up on mods done to the bikes. I have a 99 NT. It has a couple things done to it. Stage 1, drag pipes. My question is what should i do next. I have saved money and was looking at 16 inch apes. Just wanted to see what you all think. What you all did to your bike first and things you wish you didn't do. Thanks Abe

Lot's of people like apes on their Trains. I prefer the classic looks of the drags myself but as mentioned above, there are lots of ideas on mods here:

Hey all I found a set of 16inch apes. I am 5'10. Do you all think this will be to high. I wish i had some friends who had apes so i could get a idea of size and feel. Let me know what you all think.

 

If you actually have the apes just sit on the bike resting the bars on top of the yokes/ triple trees lift them up an inch or so to allow for the risers and see how they feel, 16s should be ok.

 

Apes for sue....if not maybe a new seat or save for new wheels..
