Default De-pressurizing Fuel Tank on 01' Deuce

I'm changing tins and I'm ready to change out the gas tank. Manual say's to "de-pressurize" fuel tank by disconnecting the electrical lead to the fuel pump. This lead is near the rear of the tank, but of course I can't find it. I have located the feul gauge electrical connection and it is disonnected, but I'm not seeing the fuel pump connection lead.

By disconnecting the electrical lead and running the engine, the gas will run out (fuel pump isn't pumping) and the tank is ready to be properly drained and then removed.

Any help would be appreciatated....

Charles

When I pulled my tank off I just disconnected the quick disconnect , did not loose a drop ! Also no leakage on reconnecting . Wish I could say the same about the cross-over line , lost some but was ready for it .
