I am now having my new fairing painted & was wondering if anyone knows of a supplier that makes an insert for the back to finish it off like the fairings on the touring bikes. Would make it much easier to install a stereo, etc.

 

as far as i know, nobody does. I wouldn't mind getting one also. as for a radio, hog tunes makes one for the fairing link

how do you like it? hows it sound at 80mph? can it be mounted with the pouches? is it a "quick release" system when the fairings not mounted?

sorry for the all the questions but your the first person I've seen that has it. I've been thinking about getting it as a bday gift to myself.

I love it, it is still pretty clear at 80mph, but with a good mp3 player (iPhones don't put out enough power, from my experience.)
No, it mounts in the same location as the pouches and it is not quick release from the fairing itself, but when you release the fairing, you just disconnect one plug from the neck of the bike. The fairing is just as easy to disconnect as before.

 

It would seem to me... why not call Memphis shades and ask them..
