I'm partial to bags. one day i dont like that, the next day i do. im all confukulated on if i should buy them or not
The best thing about having bags is telling the wife your going shopping and you take the bike! I run errands all the time, heck I even Christmass shopped. One day I bought to much and spent a half hour in the parking lot taking everything out of the packages and stuffing it into my bags. I will enventually get a luggage rack to add a bagon the back.

Also if you buy a quick disconnect kit you will only have to add the bags when you need them.
HA never thought of it like that!! now i got a reason to take the bike shopping aswell. LOL
after we recoop from our shoping expenses from Christmas or if i got enough cash left over from what im getting ready to do, i will get the quick disconnect

My 06 bags were starting to sag just alittle so I went ahead and installed the kit from gotsaggybags.com. The bags have a very square look to them. They look really good but if you want more of the rounded off look there are a few other bag kits you can use. The gotsaggybags.com kit almost makes these into hard bags. I've had lots of good comments from people.

I also just bought the detach bag and sissy bar kit from bubbasbrake.com and they are on theway. I'llwrite a review when they get here.

KY23: Please do let us know how your Bubbasbrake setup works out. Thinking about the same setup (my sissy bar is already quick-detachable). Are you going to replace your stock rear turn signals with signals that are closer to your rear fender so your signals do not stick out so far with the bags off?

Harley didn't fix the problem in the 06 bikes. I bought my FLSTCI in September with 2800 miles on it and there was a little sag on the right bag that has gotten worse since then. Not sure if riding in New Orleans with the HIGH humidity has anything to do with it. I'm keeping them clean and protected with an ArmorAll product in hopes of slowing down the process but I;m already looking at some of the bag reinforcements on the market.

My 06 bags are starting to sag a little, bought it at the end of aug 05 and now has just over 28K. Am considering got saggy bags dot com, but am also thinking about getting some 1/8" plexiglass and cutting it to fit the top of my bags amd using contact cement to keep them there. Have a bigger problem with the straps flapping. Finally got some elastic hair things and am using them to keep straps from flapping. They are a pain, but they do work.
