Sinister Industries is one company that is really taking the large front rim to the next level. hes putting 30" rims on the front and he rides his more than a bar hopper....

What're these guys gonna do when these mods are no longer "trendy" & they gotta spend bucks to get 'em back to normal? (or whatever is trendy at the time).

Not for me. If I'm gonna spend THAT kinda cheddar on a vehicle, I better be able to ride it from Miami to Anchorage & back, comfortably & reliably.

The only thing that is different from normal mods that anyone does to a bike is the rake and 26, and the rake is not uncommon (he did do it right by cutting and welding it with a kit though). I would hate to be get a flat on that sucker, because you arent just gonna get a 26inch tire right away, the only company making them is vee rubber from what i understand. Then the problem is finding someone with the right equipment to mount them. our local indy's only have mounts for up to 23"

Getting a flat that needs a replacement out away from home with any thing but a "normal sized" HD tire, is going to have you waiting for one to be delivered.

Seen this raked Street Glide at bike night at Ft Thunder. No clue what size wheel is on it other than big. Nice bike, but I can't see spending that kind of $ on a bike unless I had more money than sense.
