I went with Top Shop extended bags. Your gonna want to change your rear fender even if you go with stock hard bags because the bags come down lower then the fender.

I purchased H-D Bags from Ebay. Utilized CycleVisions Bagger Tail as well as the filler panels. Had the filler panels Powder coated to match the bike and bags. Wife insisted that her pipes, Big Radius 2 into 1 remain...thankfully CV Bagger Tail allowed that. Will try to post some newer pics...Had the Wizard redo all the pinstriping incorporating Gold Leaf onto the bike. Steve Chaszeyka just south of Massillon OH is an incredible artist. The studded bag covers from Mustang match her Mustang seat. As is always the case...buying the bike is only a down payment.

More info should anyone care. The Bagger Tail did not require any modification to fir the V&H Big Radius. Never had to remove the rear fender entirely. Sadly...our friend and former pinstriper Wild Bill succumbed to his illness. He was from Lincolnton NC. Great guy...just too many serious medical issues that took him far too soon. He was a steady fixture at Myrtle Beach Bike Week.

My wife's 2014 Lo has the stock fender, Cycle Visions Bagger-Tail, fillers and guards, 2014 HD FLT bags.
The HD hard bags for 2014 or different than the 98-13 bags, so keep that in mind. They are a different slant and are wider. The wife can even fit her half helmet in hers. She likes the curves of the stock fender and doesn't care that the bags and fillers are a little lower.
I second the recommendation to search the forums for "softail bagger". You'll find tons of posts with helpful members.

I know this thread is hella old, but I have the Sportster Bagster Tail on my XL1200C. Is this the same mount on your wife’s Fat it Lo? I ask because I’d alike to take the kit off my Sportster and keep it for a 2011 Fatboy Lo I have my eye on. Will it fit or do they have a tail kit for the FB Lo
?
