Yes there actually some folks out there that decide to buy a bike & dont ride it much believe their called R.U.Bs (rich urban bikers). know a few through work.
As far as pipes & a command kit go you also need an high flow air cleaner to go with the set up to get any real results in increased horse power and a cooler running engine. basically these mods increase air flow, make the bike sound like a Harley, and the fuel commander makes it all work right.

Pictures will help. Yes it is possible, I purchased a 2003 with 1300 miles on it in 2010.

My 2011 had 3500 miles on it 2 months ago when I bought it. Like what was said, rub's buy then sell when it wears off. Good for us

The PO of my Heritage Springer put 3000 miles on it in 10 years, verified by pics and the title.

Yes, there are a lot of bikes sitting in garages that are never ridden. Someone watched TV and got a bug and there it sits. I found my 2006 last November and it only had 548 miles on it and they had 2 of them, the other had under 600 miles too. I drove 3 hours to pick her up.

It was a couple with a lot of toys, they bought a matching set of Deluxe's, decked them out with windshield, exhaust, bags and rode them for a couple weekends and they parked them.
