I've had my new Heritage Classic for a bit over a week and am finding the windshield height wrong for me. I'm neither looking through it or over it and the top of the windshield is right on my horizon so I'm either sitting up very straight or bending forwards when I ride. It's more of an issue for me when riding at night.
Is there any way to adjust it or tilt it towards me or do I have to either find somebody to cut it down a couple inches, or change it for a shorter one?

 

If you've got a BRAND DAMN NEW Heritage you bought from a HD dealer I'd suggest you take the bike back and see if' they'll swap it ouf for one 2" shorter.

Mine is an '04 & I had the exact problem. I bought a LRS shield that was 2" shorter, problem solved. Some guys cut theirs down. I'd just rather buy one & be done with it. I also don't have some of the tools to do it properly.
