Red face 95 fat boy and 160 60 18 tire?? (I know this has been beat)

To death. I did a search and I am not sure if the 2xxx year bikes are the same as my 95. It would appear that the fenders, rear frame horns are the same. I had a metzeler 160 60 18 on order, but it turned out to be OOS, so I X'd it. Maybe it was a sign. I just want to be sure this tire will fit on my bike with out WORK. I have a 18x4 pro 1 rear wheel. Again I searched but did not see any 95's with this size, just 2000 up. Thanks

Hello Double Trouble, i have a 1991 Heritage with an Avon 150/70-18 on a 18x4.25 wheel and it is a very tight fit. The biggest problem will be the fender i guess, only 1/8 of an inch space on each side max. I don't know how wide the 160-18 measures on your wheel. Succes.

I have a 160-16 on a 3" wheel on my 96 BB. a 160 on a 4.25 works you just need to spread the frame horns a bit.A little more with the 16" I have done this on a 94 and a 97 softy.Used a porta power and have close to a quarter on either side.160-18 fits better than the 16 due to side wall ht.and the tire grows less that way.No rub issues at all on any of the 3 we have done.

Hmmm, interesting, some body on here has to have this particular wheel size and tire on the same year bike.
