thanks for the help everyone, I just finished putting the turn signal relocation kit on. I decided to put the signals back on just to be on the safe side.
FYI...The instructions say to cut out 2 inches of conduit when installing the turn signal kit. I did this and my wires were barely long enough to plug back in. I don't see a reason to cut out the 2 inch section. Just cut it to get the wire out of the OEM mounting stem and then use the connectors to splice the wire back.

I'm removing my front turn signals this weekend. Have the HD lighted mirrors (which are LED) and also have the load equalizer. Are you saying that the check engine light is on even with the load equalizers in place? I'm under the impression that the security system will still work as long as the load equalizer is in place.....and that system lights will work as normal as well...???
