08nighttrain gave me an idea. I do like the raw steel tank with the rest of the bike scheme. I am gonna leave the tank raw for now and wipe it down with oil, like the chambers on my GT. I just painted the tunnel where I wont be able to wipe it.

Agreed on the raw steel look on that bike. Perfect combo IMHO. But I've been told all my taste is in my mouth.
BTW, do you ever sleep with all that energy???

 

I been in the garage drinkin brewskis and wrenchin all night. Have the tank mounted and temporary set up for the ignition.

I feel liker Conan's father, forging a peice of raw steel into a finely tuned sword of death!!!!!!

A few more beers and I will try and fire her up. I will post some pics at the end of night.
