Default Softail Slim kickstand reach?

Hi guys, I'm a contractor currently in Afghanistan. Recently looked at a Softail Slim and immediately wanted it. I'm 5'4" with a 28-29" inseam, and my concern is that I won't be able to reach the kickstand like many other softail models I've sat on. Does anyone have a similar issue, and resolved this somehow? Do the floorboards flip up?

The jiffy stand sold by HD isn't compatible with the slim either.

Thanks!

I have a 30in in seam..I can reach it easily..lower the bike a little and you should be fine..the bike already sits low.

2013 Slim here. Loving it. You are obviously a man of fine tastes.

I'm a 30 (5'9'') and it does take a little bit of a reach for me to get at the stand's nobby with my boot. If you flip the floorboard up a bit, it helps.

So the floorboards do flip up? I assumed with all the stories of scraping on turn that they were fixed down.

Midgard any reccomendations for a good rear kickstand? Doesn't alter the center of gravity balance on it too much?

My wife is 5'1" and she can throw down the kick stand on my Lo and on a slim. You should have no problem.

There's an extension you can put on your kickstand. Google "kickstand extension".
