The "must have" mod on your Sodtail, IMHO, is the Shotgun shock. Ask anyone who has it or go through some old posts. It's something you will never regret doing to it.
Bought a deluxe a few weeks back and is now being fitted with 33 inch Samson longtails, with baffles, SE stage one ac and tuner. Haven't even brought it home yet. Psyched
I just got a 2013 softail heritage classic and got the 36 samson fishtails, 16 ape 2 inch riser, stage one and air cleaner. It is no joke that you can trip over those things. You have to be really be aware of them at all times. Good luck with your new ride and be safe.

That's a long wait! Congrats on the new Deluxe! I have 14" apes and 1.5" risers for sale. Perfect for your bike!!!
I'll keep you in mind. Thought about apes. Depends all on my cash reserve. I spent a lot of cash on my 2012 dyna only to trade it after 6 months. The wife is freakin out at all the stuff I'm doing. Good thing she has a career that pays better than mine!
