Default Need help with tires and rims for FLS

Guys, I need some help understanding the particulars with tires and rims. This all started from looking for a replacement front fender for my Slim. I have always liked the look of a wrapped front fender and wanted to do that mod to my bike. I was looking at the Fatcatz website and noticed their fender sizes are:

130/70 18"
80/90
90/90...etc

I know the Slim front tire is MT90-16 72H, which translates to a 90 aspect ratio and a 16" rim. I have looked in the catalog and service manual and can't find where the size of the tire is referenced by a number like 130. I know the rear tire is a 140 because of a recent thread where a guy switched to a 150.

So, what would I need to do in order to go to a 18" rim to allow for the fender? I am trying to get a little insight before shopping around so I don't get the "you can't do that" line from the dealership. Thanks in advance for any help you guys can offer me.

QC, Excellent resource, Thank you!!

Though there wasn't a listing for the FLS, it looks like the the numbes for the 2000-2012 FLSTF are an exact match.

I think the protocol is to go with your gut and do what you want to your bike and the hell with the rest of us. Then post pics and get flamed and praised.
