Just went from a 18 to a 21 on my fatboy and I couldn't be happier it looks great

 

Thanks! Slow speeds is not an issue..I split lanes this last weekend on our 405 freeway nightmare I never was able to get out of 1st gear for 6 miles..never felt out of control

 

The time that people perceive an issue at slow speeds with a 21" is when turning into a parking spot, etc. Personally, I have been running a 21" on my fatboy for many years and have never had an issue but this all has to do with the rider, their skills, and how comfortable they are on the bike in general. This is usually more of an issue on baggers as well due to the higher center of gravity whereas with a softail the center of gravity is much lower.

 

Lookin good Dyna. Nice motion shot. Can we see more pics of the fairing and bag setup. I'm heading a similar way. My bags, fairing and tourpak are booked into the painters next week. Gonna take 2 weeks. Just not sure what it's gonna look like with standard rear fender.
