Are you able to post pics? And are there different sizes or fitaments for different bikes? Question is, what bike did you click on when u went to order online?

I picked up my 2014 HD Breakout back in November and did a lot of research into new exhaust. Living in California, I wanted something that sounded louder than the stock exhaust, but wasn't so obnoxious that it attracted the attention of law enforcement.

I really liked the look of the look of the Vance & Hines Big Radius 2-into-1 and the Vance & Hines Short Shots Staggered in black. After speaking with a few shops, they told me the short open pipes are really loud, good for noise and will cause a loss of torque. Definitely not what I want.

After more research I settled on the Bassani Road Rage 2-into-1 black with the short megaphone. I also added a TTS MasterTune to dial in the exhaust with my Performance Machine Super Gas air cleaner. The TTS seems to be one of the only tuners that lets you custom map and tweak your setup. The other tuners have standard maps you download.

It's been a little over a month now with the new setup and I don't think I could be any happier! The Bassani exhaust has an awesome low rumble to it, almost a snarl. The pipe isn't too loud at an idle, but give the throttle a twist and it roars. Riding through the canyons of the Bay Area sounds great and my bike finally sounds like a Harley.

The TTS MasterTune definitely woke the bike up too. I notice a lot more low end torque and power throughout the band. Running at about 3000 to 4000 RPM's is the ideal power. The TTS also lifted my rev limit from 5500 to 6000 RPM's. In my mind 5500 RPM's cut off to early.

I've attached my Dynojet results with HP increase from 76.96 to 86.53 (+9.57 HP) and torque increase from 93.84 to 104.49 (+10.65 Ft-Lb).

TY for that, I was reading and checking stuff all last night about this very pipe and to see it in black, perfect! Was thinking on the VH br 2 into 1 but have changed my mind. Going to grab a set asafp.

Are the reflectors attached with adhesive and just pop off with a screwdriver?

Much less likely to do damage by using a piece of fishing line to "saw" through the adhesive, staying close to the reflector versus close to the paint, and then use Goo Be Gone to remove the adhesive without damaging the paint.

Don't use a screw driver. Use piece of fishing line or you can try dental floss.

I would put a hair drier or a heat gun (it you have one) right up to the back of the reflector before you start using the fishing line or dental floss back and forth to remove it.

Glad you like the Bassani. We've had our's now for over a year and a half and still love it and yep that SNARL/BARK, when on the throttle, really makes it sound like a HARLEY !!!
