Default 1995 fatboy fluid question

sorry if this has been covered a million times, but it seems most of yall ride tc and not evos(wasn't sure if they are same or close on specs). doing a quick service for a guy here in town and he doesn;t have a manual and i don't ride softails so really don't plan on getting one(maybe if i start workin on more of them i will). was wondering if any of you knew fluid capacities for eng oil, and capacity and type for the primary and trans. can't really find much online don't know if i'm wording my searches wrong but i am pretty terrible with online searches. 1995 fatboy and thanks a million for any info and your patience!

I don't know the specs off hand, I am sure someone will.

If you want to go the cheap route for stuff you don't do all the time.

Service Manuals can be found online in a PDF file for under 10$

Thats the route I took

Oil capacity is 3.5 dry. I put in 3 and check dip stick.

Don't have the manual here but I believe tranny is 20-24 oz and primary 30-32 oz.

Honestly, when I do fluids in my 98 Fatboy I add oil until my dipstick is a little above the add line or I blow oil all over the motor thru the breather. I add on the primary until the clutch is wet and the trannie I fill until the dipstkick is reading full-seated but not screwed in.

Just saying sometime the capacities can be a little off.

Good luck.

Usually that means your vent and return lines are backwards on your oil tank...you should be able to go above the full line no problem
