Default 87 heritage tech info needed

I do not know if I am in the right place to post this question, being brand new to this list and very computer iiliterate, but here goes. I have a well worn 1987 heritage that runs great but looks beat, about 87000 miles.,maney internal mods inc s+s carb, bored, module, cams etc.I bought a sportster to ride while I do a cosmetic redo of the softail.
Recently I got a deal on new rims and tires of of a 2002 ultra glide. They are the same size, but will they fit ?The new front wheel came with dual discs up front.I love the dual discs on the sporty and would like to use both on the softail.Does anyone know what is available to make the conversion on my old hog?Nobody seems to list dual brake lowers for a bike as old as mine

Axle size is most likely different.Lots of changes in the span of years.Look in JP cycles. They have a variety of psrts for conversions.
