I want to keep the stock look of my breakout with the stock gloss black heat shields on the mufflers... but I want to change the mufflers to a vance and hines slip on.. Twin slash 3 inch or straight shots... new to this so any advice would be great.. the stock muffler is 3 inch inside diameter and I believe the straight shot with heat shields is only 2 1/2 inches ... the straight shots have the flat backs like stock mufflers and the twin slash are slash cut on an angle ... I really want the sound but don't want to loose the stock look...

 

Maybe call Vance and Hines and ask them?

 

I emailed them today and asked but just got the part number for the straight shot slip ons with no response to the heat shield question
