Default FatBoy handlebar adjustment?

Longtime lurker, new member ... my 2012 FatBoy bars feel/appear to be pointing to the right (that or my right arm is shorter than the left!). I've tried taking them and the risers off but there's no adustment at the riser base. Looking to suggestions ... thanks!

You can loosen up the pinch bolts and adjust them straight then re tighten every thing.

^^^ What he said, mine were tweaked like that from a tie down that was too tight after trailering it in the winter. Just had to loosen everything up, get it straight and tighten back up.

Didn't help ... the bars are centered in the risers but pointed/turned to the right. It also looks like the risers might be turned to the right. It's an exaggeration but it's like if I held the bars straight while riding the bike would go left.

If that did not work, are you sure your bars are not bent. You should be able to get straight bars by tweaking the risers and fork tubes.

The risers are rubber mounted and can be moved. Mine on my 10 Fatboy were tweaked a little to the left so I turned the bars all the way to the right untill it hits the stop and then push on the left bar end pull on the right bar end at the same time. Your risers will move slightly. Then put your bars to the center and ckeck for straitness. Worked for me.

Yeah, what made mine crooked was one of the risers had moved. Loosen it ALL up, adjust and tighten.

I had this exact same problem... just loosen and torque the riser clamp bolts to PROPER spec... These do not need to be as tight as you can get them... Dont ask me why those riser clamp bolts have anything to do with it, but it does... try it!

you mean like this, right??

My '07 is the same. I had to do this every couple of months until this year. Now they just go back to crooked when I straighten the wheel. I guess it's time for new polyurethane bushings.

I have a 13 and just replaced the stock riser with a 4" pullback. The risers can twist at the top of the triple tree causing the bars not to be even. One solution, stand in front of the bike with the wheel clamped between your legs and pull the side of the handle bar to straighten them. If the riser mount is too tight to do this, slightly loosen the bolts under them and then adjust. Leave the clamp alone unless you are trying to raise or lower the bar ends
