Default 200 rear white wall

I've searched the site & googled with not much luck so I figured I'd give it another shot.

Anyone sell a DOT approved (not Vee) 200 rear white wall? I've seen posts about a place in north carolina that custom does them but how much do they charge for it? Does anyone have thier contact info?

I've also heard of people painting the white walls but I don't know anything about it. Does it last long/look good?

ANY help is appreciated.

2nd post down this page by "ranger fan",

https://www.hdforums.com/forum/softa...ctures-68.html

pic of xbones with white walls. A bit further down the thread he gives the link to the company that makes custom white wall tyres for cars and supposedly bikes. He paid $280 if I remember correctly.

Here a link to another bones with white wall from same company:

Don't know what bike you got, but looks like Diamond Back Tires can do the job for you - for a price.

Midgard, right now I got a 18x200 but wanting to go back to a 17x200. most likely ill stick with the 18 for a while.

That company no longer makes white walls because of liability issues. they said the white was covering up DOD tags on the tire.

BLK, I've never heard/seen an avon 200 white wall.

Other than Vee -- biggest I've seen is 180 Bridgestone - on a 15" rim - for a Kawasaki

Why no Vee?

Diamond back 'made' quality Whitewalls tires. I say made, because they no longer make them for motorcycles. DB made a 200/50/R18 Metzler whitewall for me... Unfortunelty I'm going back to blackkwalls since they no longer make them.

I know it sounds ghetto but I'm tempted to try & paint them on. I've got a few hotrod friends that did theirs and they turned out good & last, just time consuming.

I've actually considered doing something like that. Let us know how they turn out.
