Default Slow down the thief

A couple of weeks back someone ripped off one of my saddle bags. Well, Insurance paid for it but I don't want it to happen again anytime soon. Given how easy it is to get the bag off, I decided to do something to slow them down. Made this gizmo out of fender washers, nylon bushing, paint and SS bolt/nut.

Hardest (most time consuming) part was grinding the "half-moons" into the washers. This winter I will powder coat the parts.

I rock the Brukus setup on my bike. People realize quickly that the bags are not coming off easily. http://brukus.com/cgi-bin/p/awtp-pro...rts&item=35502

Looks like a great product for hard mounted bags. How would they work on detatchables?

There is a video on the Tourpack BULLET Secure on the page. Here's the link.

It prevents removal with a custom made little product that uses a much smaller security tool.
