I switched to 2000 Fat Boy stock bars and risers - puts the grips right where I like em and no cable hassles - everything fits like stock.

How do you like the heritage bars so far?
I switched 2RK bars from the past to heritage bars for comfort.
My present softail also has heritage bars (aftermarket black bars)
I really like em, comfort wise.

I like the Fatboy style bars on my old FLSTN just fine. They are actually the bend from a '82 FLH.

Bars are a personal thing, 'cause "the world don't move to the beat of just one drum, what might be right for you, might not be right for some..."
