Should I ride in a parade today in 90 degree weather?
I am scheduled to ride my motorcycle in a pink dragon costume in the 4th of July parade today. Weather calls for 91 degrees and awful humidity. It's 7:00 am and already swampy outside.
The route is 2 1/2 miles and it will be walking speed. Obviously clutch in the whole time.
I can stay well hydrated but I'm concerned about the bike not getting any air for cooling as I imagine it will be around 45 minutes from start to finish.
What do you guys think? Thanks
Also - last night I found one of my front caliper bolts loose. Do those have to be tightened in a certain way or anything special?

that is a show bike...might as well show it off! i just ordered some of jason's(member here) cooling fans. an oil cooler and a set of those fans should handle just about anything. they would not distract from the look of your bike and will kick in if needed. traffic jams, accidents, construction, etc. are all part of riding-those old air cooled motors are pretty tough and you should be fine.

Should we start referring to you as Puff instead of Peg?
