I broke one of my Husky Home depot torx sockets. I took it in and they gave me a new one.

Torx has to be one of THE worst developments for a long time. Buy good tools!

Find an American company that makes better then and quit bitching. That or don't ride a bike that has anything foreign on it what so ever. Might as well stop driving too, because unless you have a pre 70's vehicle, it probably has "jap" stuff on it. And you might as well turn off your TV, throw out your cell phone, get off of your computer, and stop using most electronic devices if you hate "jep" things that much.

I got a complete set at AutoZone...Duralast stuff...seems pretty decent for 20 bucks...individuals in a plastic holder like allen wrenches...and it had the #27 too.

I have a set of Wiha Torx L-wrenches- $$$ but top of the line. DeWalt has both security and regular Torx bits available at Home Depot.

Yeah - because I like dropping everything in the middle of a job to run to the cheap $hit store to replace a broken cheap $hit brand tool... and then wonder why the new cheap $hit torx wrench doesn't fit the half torn up bolt head..

Quality tools last a lifetime...

Many "sets" do not have this size...
That's why I just get the individual ones I need. I got a good rachet set so just need the sockets. BTW and FWIW...I get the socket at Nothern Tools. Just closer to the house.

I did checked out Harbor Freight's torx set and didn't have a single socket in that set I needed.
