Default Cone Air Filters???

I am not even sure as to what these are exactly called: "Open coned air filters/spiked filters/90 degree filters???"

Anyways, I know that there are quite a few out there, but I wanted to see pics of them on a softail. I am thinking of putting one on my 05 NT.

I heardthe HD SEs are "HUGE" compared toothers? Have not personally seen them, so not sure. Anyone with pics and info to share of what they are running?

Also, what of the performance gains? Minimal and really just for looks, or at least a slight gain?
THANKS

I have to admit that I am not that impressed with my HD Screamin Eagle cone... It is very huge... Thankfully I am long legged!!! As far as performance I can not say, because I had mine installed with the Big Bore Kit.

Can't remember who it is, but someone on this board is running the SE one on a Fatboy and it looks pretty darn good to me!

Here are some pics of my Train with a "Cone Filter", but can't remember what type it was:

Thanks for the pics. Off hand the SE does look a lot bigger than the spiked and Wimmer products. I am 5'11", will this be an issue with the SE?

Also, I like the look of the whimmer products other than the two hanging parts on the bracket. Is this for function or strickly looks?

I would prefer a simple crome backing or bracket plate without the "hanging *****".

The hanging parts are top breathers. These eliminate oil misting and ugly plumbing. Also, look at flow charts before making your decision.
