Default 08 night train with Cross bones wheels question

I am putting Cross bones wheels on my 08 nightrain and have a question/poll for you guys.

The wheels are from a 09 crossbones, the back is 25mm and I understand should line up fine. The front is 3/4 axle and my NT is 25mm up front. I am planning on removing the lower forks to have the powder coated. I also have a line on a new set of lowers already coated that accept a 3/4 axle.

So here is the question. do I stay with the 25mm axle replace the existing 3/4in barrings with 25mm and have custom spacers cut. OR do I replace the lowers with a set for 3/4in axle, get a new axle and spacer kit?

I am pretty sure the rear on your NT is a 3/4 and the front is the 25mm. Do a search on the forum though because there are differences in spacers you will have to contend with.

That would be the 2007 NT

I have just changed wheel bearings and can confirm that the front and rear are 25mm.

I think that it would be best to go with the 3/4 lowers to suit the 3/4 axle.

The '08s have 25mm bearings ft and rear. just change the bearings and use the right spacers.

Where you able to get the bones front wheel to work? always thought the hub offset/brake alignment wouldn't work since the CB springer front end brake offset/alignment is so much different then on traditional fork.
