The compressor w/attached diverter valve is in the "normal" spot, but clocked such that the compressor head
is all the way to the right. If you look from above the bike, down past the transmission, you would see the "head".
The issue I have is just that I have not seen any "new" pictures online that match what I "think" I am being instructed
to do. The paper instructions that came with the kit are not the same as those that are on the website.... The picture in
the instructions is not that clear and is does not show the supply line from compressor to diverter valve, so I'm
just not confident that I have done that part correctly....

I finished the install last night.
After work today I will double check for clearance in all positions.
On the compressor bracket, for GP I went to my bolt bin and pulled out the next two lengths of bolts.
I also ran one of them through the bracket holes (thread) multiple times.
I think they just had coating in the threads.
I used the longest set of bolts to get the compressor in place, then the next shorter and then the supplied bolts (kind of a pain but got the job done).

Mounting the Diverter was not to bad.
The bracket put the diverter in way to mount the bracket and it appears that the top fasteners are sealed.
So it took three wrenches to get the little bugger on.
Run the air & electrical lines (and hide them), plug in the controller and test it.
Lines looked good, now on to the controller, another


The top hole came in the bracket, NOT.
With it the radius riding the horn bell the lower hole is as close as you can get it and mount it per the instructions.
The other issue is the width of the bracket and the concave shape of the horn bell (meant to wrap around the rubber mount).

Not sure if these are differences with the newer ABS model or not, I will try to contact JD today and see.
But other than checking for clearance/rubbing and getting a hang of the system this mod is almost completed.
I am hoping to replace the bracket for the switches at some point.

I was going to modify my mounting hardware but I may have found what I need last night.
I need to check some dimensions when I get home, if I am right I will order them today along with the latch assemblies.

 

Installed my new Hogworkz headlight. Got caught in the rain the night before last and almost ran over a piece of wood about the size of shoe box that was in the road. Hopefully this will help me identify road hazards faster.

I had no issues with this part (attaching the compress & pinch bracket to the trans mount).

Yeah, my non-ABS version doesnt look like that. I'm still recovering
from knee surgery, but I'll see if I can get a selfie stick & get a phone pic
from the underside of mine....

Again, my non-ABS version has the diverter valve mounted to the compressor, the supply
line is only ~5" long. A pic is worth 1000 words they say - I'll try to get one of mine.

Nice headlight creepy. I installed the hogworkz chrome halomaker 7" and the 4.5" passing lights. They're bright! Nice light way better than stock.. havnet had a chance to ride much yet this season though.
